What do you know now that you wish you knew back when you began your career?

What do you know now that you wish you knew back when you began your career? 

For me, it was "Be willing to do the hard things!" they don't teach you this anywhere. In our society they teach you to do the easy and comfortable, but that is not a good path to career or financial security: It is an easy way to be being expendable.
